Fold & Go Mobile Tablet a Real Foldable Tablet PC

A foldable Tablet PC concept was a big technology expectation for the future, one company from Fold & Go Mobile Tablet which envisaged by AN Design Lab has designed a flexible tablet device that can literally be folded and used. It seems that the flexible display screen will became the next trends in technology.



The design will comprise of a futuristic flexible screen technology such as we write on the Nokia kinetic concept, as an integral part of the system (from the perspective of both flexibility and usage). And since we are talking about flexible screens, the current technological attribute seen in this field is intriguingly credible to take it much beyond the ludicrous quotient. In relation to one of its form, we are better acquainted with the technology in its electronic paper (or e-paper) avatar. These e-papers have a slew of advantages over conventional display systems, with a stable image, a wider viewing angle and a convenient reflecting quality of ambient light (rather than emitting its own light). Now, coming back to the concept of Fold & Go Mobile Tablet, the display element of the tablet can utilize the component of plastic substrates that would give it the e-paper vibe.

According to the designers, they have also alluded to the utilization of emerging flexible display technologies. In relation to this, there are already many electronic giants going behind this Holy Grail of next generation display. In the middle part of this year itself, Sony announced (with a prototype, not connected to any device) their OLED driven flexible display, which would offer brighter colors and use less power than standard displays. Another exalted company, Samsung followed it up with their version of ’bendy screened' gadgets, which according to numerous sources, may already make their commercial debut by 2012.

Again, coming back to the core mechanism of Fold & Go Mobile Tablet, the designers have touted the device to have two button programmable hot keys, which in turn would allow for dual functionalities. The first function is directly related to user convenience, as it will allow them to fully customize the device (as per their individual preference). The second function deals with the enhanced state of interaction, which would lead to a full color external screen.

Of course, the interactive feature does not stop at the visual element. As a matter of fact, the designers have thought of an advanced mechanism where a user can 'naturally' interact with the device with practical voice recognition and gesture mapping attributes. Both of these features have been covered in the past by devices (and systems) such as Siri personal assistant in iPhone and Kinect in Xbox 360. So at the end of the day, with so many innovative elements being considered, the Fold & Go Mobile Tablet concept truly has the potential to fuse the best of 'all' worlds.

Toyota shows their futuristic concept car called fun vii. this car would be one of the coolest electric concept car for the future. This concept car was looks like from a Sci-Fi Movies. But what we like about it concept is the interior, It's a fully customizable viewing screen and surface and that can display the outside world. This kind of cool concept futuristic car by toyota was announced at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011 in Japan. From the exterior, the aerodynamic vehicle is covered in a smooth black finish with silver accents along the edges and the wheel mags. Everything about the design says “futuristic and high-tech”, and it looks like those cars we often see in dystopian future science-fiction films.

Inside, there is is room for a driver and two passengers to sit comfortably with legs stretched out and more elbow room that the average car comes with. The design is both spacious and minimal, offering a clean, clutter-free look that every car owner envies, but soon discovers is impossible to keep up. but we think it would be better if toyota adopts this Mind Controlled Car Technology like what we posted before.



On the inside walls Toyota has some pretty cool out-of-this-world features plans, such as a fully customizable viewing screen and surface and that can display the outside world, or anything of the operator’s choice. It will be able to offer full web browsing capabilities on the go, fully linked with social networking and communication. Asahi Kasei Fibers has introduced the Roboden, an elastic electrical cable. It’s made out of spandex, which is the same fabric used in a lot of athletic gear, and which a lot of people whose bodies most people really don’t want to see completely outlined wear.

The cable is meant to be used mainly for robotics. Since robots need to have some freedom of movement, engineers usually leave some slack in the cables. But this cable allows the cable to be as tight or as loose as necessary. It will also allow people to build human-like robots that are more realistic and soft, which might help them avoid going deep into the Uncanny Valley.

Asahi Kasei is also planning to implement the technology in other cables, such as USB. This would be an obvious boon for portable electronics, given the abuse they (and their cables) often take. Let's hope that in the future the USB cable or even HDMI cables will use this kind of elastic fabrics from Asahi Kasei Fibers.

Branching Boroughs a 3D Vertical Garden Concept

Have you ever seen a happening city life flowing up in the air? Seems to be a dreamy concept, doesn't it? But Atmos Studio has turned this dream into a real design that synthesizes and blends a beautiful piece of art with architecture. Atmos has tried to create an articulated three-dimensional sky garden, Branching Boroughs, which is a perfect example of the merger of a micro design with a global concept. The project design aims at utilizing the leftover real estate in an urban setting of London and thus offers an exclusive three dimensional creation. By utilizing the underexploited and neglected waste air, a micro sky garden for birds and people has been designed to be constructed above the traffic island.



Branching Boroughs visualizes to reflect London's city structure in a vertical garden displaying a constant regeneration of the life and birth's ecology. The design includes a tree structure with each of its branch depicting the Inner London's single electoral ward that is mapped per a relative size on the tree. This tree seems to branch outward like the electoral wards branch out of the old city in a three-petal layer manner of adjacent wards. The whole sky garden structure spreads in a pattern that helps it grow out of the limited available space. Cool Siri Car Hack by Brandon Fiquett

SIRI on iPhone4S works as a personal assistant but could you imagine if SIRI can be used to start your car? Brandon Fiquett has made a totally awesome innovation by hacking SIRI to start his car. Yes it's true he can start his own car only with SIRI in his iPhone 4S. You can see on the video below about how he start his car by using SIRI.

Developer Brandon Fiquett has gotten his phone to do just that - hacking Siri on the iPhone 4S to work along with his Viper SmartStart module to not only start his car, but also to arm and disarm the car's alarm, lock and unlock doors, and even pop the vehicle's trunk.



Fiquett was able perform the hack by using Siri Proxy created by another hacker @plamoni, and then running a custom PHP script on his home computer along with some custom plugins to communicate with Siri.

Originally the system was only able to respond to commands such as "Vehicle Arm", "Vehicle Disarm", "Vehicle Start", "Vehicle Stop", "Vehicle Pop Trunk", and "Vehicle Panic," with an update later adding more conversational commands such as "Start my car", "Lock my car", and "Pop my trunk."

The hack is currently in the "proof of concept stage," and isn't something you're likely to be able to replicate unless you really know your way around some code. If you are super tech-savvy, however, Fiquett has published links to the code on his website you can use to recreate the hack with your own phone and vehicle.

This particular hack is the work of just one man, and with Siri only being available a little over a month, it will be interesting to see what other functionality the developer community is able to create over time, as well as what other functionality Apple may add to Siri in the future.

Gliese 581g is an exoplanet located far away from earth, the scientist has discovered this planet was looks just like our Earth. According to the scientist this planet was potentially habitable planet which has an environment much similar to that of Earth and may contain water and even life.

Gliese 581g is located around 123 trillion miles away from Earth and orbits a star at a distance that places it squarely in the habitable or the Goldilocks zone, the scientists said. Here's the news of this Newly discovered planet like earth the Gliese 581G.

The research, published in a paper published in the Astrophysical Journal, suggests that the planet could contain liquid water on its surface, meaning it tops the league of planets and moons rated as being most like Earth, they said.

"Our findings offer a very compelling case for a potentially habitable planet said Vogt," said lead researcher Steven Vogt, a professor of astronomy and astrophysics at the University of California.

"The fact that we were able to detect this planet so quickly and so nearby tells us that planets like this must be really common," Vogt said. The new findings are based on 11 years of observations of the nearby red dwarf star Gliese 581. The team reported the discovery of two new planets around Gliese 581.

This brings the total number of known planets around this star to six, the most yet discovered in a planetary system outside of our own. Like our solar system, the planets around Gliese 581 have nearlycircular orbits, the team said.

It found that Gliese 581g has a mass three to four time the Earth's and orbits its star in just under 37 days. Its mass indicates that it is probably a rocky planet with a definite surface and enough gravity to hold on to an atmosphere, they said. PTI.

Invoked Computing? Have you heard this terms before? Ok before we talk about it how about if we describe the meaning of the Invoked Computing? At a glance invoked computing was a computer system that can transform any object into a gadget. It's really cool and amazing right? The researcher has developed a cool amazing stuff for the future which is called an Augmented reality contact lenses.
